Bears split first two games to begin the season
The Brattleboro Bears girls soccer team had a mixed start to the season, opening with a close 2-1 loss to Burr & Burton, where Maeve Bald scored the team's first goal and goalie Naima Harris made 12 crucial saves. However, the Bears bounced back spectacularly with a commanding 7-0 home victory against Pioneer Valley, highlighted by Reese Croutworst’s hat trick and strong performances from Leanna Rago-Marker and Sadie Cheslawski. The team is now gearing up for a rematch against Mt. Greylock in the Lady Patriot Tournament, aiming to avenge last year’s championship defeat.
