The Twin Valley Unified basketball team kicked off their season with a thrilling 34-32 victory against Otter Valley, marking their first win in over a year. Led by Mason Ranslow's game-high 18 points, the Wildcats showcased a balanced scoring effort and will look to carry this momentum into their upcoming games, including a much-anticipated matchup against the Brattleboro Bears this Thursday at 2:15 p.m. Stay tuned as our local athletes continue to make their mark this season!

The recent 24 Hours of Stratton event, held at Stratton Mountain Resort, saw an astounding record of $465,859 raised to support essential programs for children in southern Vermont, showcasing the dedication of our community. Local athletes, including Brattleboro Bears, participated in this incredible endurance challenge, bringing together nearly 900 participants for a cause that truly makes a difference. This milestone year highlights the ongoing commitment of Brattleboro to empower youth, with over $4 million raised since the event's inception in 2012.

Ayoub Lajhar, a former standout at Brattleboro Union High School, has made waves in Major League Soccer after being drafted by FC Cincinnati.
