The Brattleboro Bears softball team celebrated a promising victory against Rutland, securing a 17-5 win and showcasing their potential for the season. Led by standout performances from freshmen Hannah Squires and Alyssa Jones, who scored a combined seven runs, the team's resilience shines through despite earlier setbacks. At just 14 years old, Eli's dedication has led to a Top 5 overall finish and sweeping the Southern Vermont regional titles in Slopestyle, Rail Jam, and Halfpipe this season. His journey from the Brattleboro Ski Hill's Learn-to-Ski program to national success exemplifies the talent and determination of our young athletes.

For the first time since 2017, fans filled the stands at Tenney Field for the Brattleboro Bears' home opener against Mount Anthony on April 14, 2026. This highly anticipated event followed renovations funded by a $450,000 capital plan approved by voters, ensuring a more accessible and enjoyable experience for all.
