The BUHS Athletic Booster Club is a charitable, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, whose purpose it is to encourage enthusiastic support and interest in Brattleboro Union High School athletics.
Student athletes in their Junior or Senior year on a spring varsity team, having played the same varsity sport for a minimum of two years.

Brattleboro Bears shone brightly at the recent 2025 USCA National Marathon Canoe and Kayak Championships, with local paddler Michael Fairchild capturing a national championship title in the C2 Mixed Standard class alongside Lorraine Brisson. Additionally, Sandy Harris teamed up with Dianna Dugas to secure gold in the Women's C2 Grand Veteran I division, showcasing the talent and dedication of our local athletes at this prestigious event. Their achievements highlight the strength and spirit of the Brattleboro community in competitive sports.
The Brattleboro Bears faced a tough season opener, falling 54-7 to St. Johnsbury in football, but look to bounce back as they prepare for their home game against Middlebury this Friday. Meanwhile, the Bears' girls soccer team showed resilience, clinching a thrilling 3-2 victory over Burr & Burton in the consolation match of the Patriot Classic. With determination and skill, Brattleboro's student-athletes are gearing up for more exciting competitions ahead!
The Brattleboro Bears showcased an impressive performance in their home opener against Woodstock, dominating with a 6-1 victory. Junior Oscar Dawson led the charge, scoring a sensational first-half hat trick, while contributions from Colby Robinson, Lucas Yunga Korn, and Gordie Kalill solidified the win. The Bears are now set to carry their momentum into the John James Soccer Tournament, with a matchup against Mount Greylock on the horizon.
The Brattleboro Bears had a strong showing at the cross-country meet hosted by Bellows Falls, finishing first among boys teams with an impressive score of 34. Led by Nico Conathan-Leach, who clinched first place with a time of 16:40, the team showcased the hard work and dedication that coach Keith Arnold praised. As the season progresses, the Bears look forward to building on this solid foundation in upcoming races.
The Brattleboro Bears girls soccer team had a mixed start to the season, opening with a close 2-1 loss to Burr & Burton, where Maeve Bald scored the team's first goal and goalie Naima Harris made 12 crucial saves. However, the Bears bounced back spectacularly with a commanding 7-0 home victory against Pioneer Valley, highlighted by Reese Croutworst’s hat trick and strong performances from Leanna Rago-Marker and Sadie Cheslawski. The team is now gearing up for a rematch against Mt. Greylock in the Lady Patriot Tournament, aiming to avenge last year’s championship defeat.
